This Privacy Policy explains how Driftzz collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app. This policy applies to all app features, including device-based trial access and subscriptions.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and profile name provided through Google, Apple, or Email authentication. This is used to manage your account and sign-in access.
• Usage & Diagnostics: Limited app usage and diagnostic information may be processed to improve app quality, reliability, and support.
• Subscription Status Information: Information required to verify paid entitlement and unlock Driftzz Pro features.

2. Data Stored Locally (On Your Device)

Driftzz follows a local-first approach. The following information is stored on your device and is not used as a cloud backup by us:

• Wellness Logs: Mood check-ins, breathing session history, post-session feedback, and progress records.
• Habit & Progress Data: XP, levels, streaks, hydration logs, and related in-app growth metrics.
• Access State: Device-based 7-day free access timing and related local access state used to determine whether premium features remain available on that device.

If you delete the app or clear its local data, this locally stored information may be permanently erased.

• To provide, maintain, and personalize your Driftzz experience.
• To calculate progress, growth signals, and app insights based on your usage history.
• To manage access to free-trial and paid subscription features.
• To communicate important service, account, or support-related updates.

4. Recommendation Scope

Driftzz provides wellness-oriented guidance only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Personalized breathing suggestions, insight scores, and wellness recommendations are intended for general wellbeing support.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Driftzz provides each signed-in user with 7 days of full access on the device where the app is used. After that access period ends, a yearly Driftzz Pro subscription is required to continue premium access.

Driftzz Pro is offered as a yearly auto-renewing subscription through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are managed directly by Apple.

The yearly subscription renews at $19.99 per year unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. You can cancel anytime from iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

6. Data Storage and Security

• We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information.
• Biometrics: If you use Face ID or Touch ID to secure the app, that biometric data is handled locally by your device and is never accessible to us.
• Authentication and service infrastructure may be supported by trusted providers such as Apple and Firebase.
• No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to improve protections.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information only when necessary:

• With trusted service providers acting on our behalf to operate the app.
• When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• To protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for app operation, support, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and account management.

9. Your Rights and Account Deletion

• Request access to your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate account information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to applicable legal obligations.

10. Children's Privacy

Driftzz is not directed to children under 13, or a higher age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and legal protections.
